How this affects our reviews

It doesn't. We choose what to review based on what UK readers actually need to keep their homes warmer, drier and healthier — not based on commission rates. We have never accepted payment, free product or any other consideration from a manufacturer in exchange for a positive review, and we never will.

If a product we previously recommended turns out to be a poor pick, we update or remove the recommendation. If a competing product (with no affiliate programme at all) is genuinely the best choice, we say so.
